Were any of the members given a chance at sponsorship?

All except the ones that I need a contact for. Accellos technically has been contacted but my contact is out of office for the next few days. There is still a Silver spot available so I was going to reach out to all of these - as soon as I have contacts.

I was thinking about Gary or Chinsky.

Do we offer a reduced rate?

What's the pool of potential member sponsors - Chinsky, Azamba, Gary. Are there any others? We have a problem with formal presentation time but I certainly have no issues with informal 10 minute pitches provided that the pitch does not conflict with any of our existing sponsors (which it doesn't) and i don't have a problem listing them on our web/blog and other promotions though I suggest we keep it low key and not above the notice given to our outside paid sponsors.

I figured there would be informal kibbutz-ing in the hallways and at meals around these things. If we are going to do a ""member services shout-out"" we could do it during the initial session if we go around the room and introduce ourselves like last year. Just ask that everyone limit it to 5 minutes for their introductions. Would the group benefit from hearing ""what's new in hosting"" as a formal session by Gary? I think they might. I'm hoping I will have a deal closed with Gary in the next few months and can give my perspective. I think Hoyt also has one or two with Gary. I will say ... my prospect did a tour of Gary's facility and were very ecstatic about it. Personally, I get uncomfortable standing up doing a 5 - 10 minute sales pitch - and I think most members know what I offer already. I would rather do a business (not technical) focused session around improving SMB sales and marketing if people are interested - we see a lot of what is / isn't working at our clients. It would only touch tangentially on CRM and might be of interest to the more business-oriented members. Or I could do a technical session on setting up workflows in CRM but I don't think that many folks would be interested. I did one for ProcessProc end user conference a month ago and it went over well but I think it has a very specialized appeal for our group.

What about Paul Ziliak?

He's a gold sponsor so he has a full timeslot.
