I must mot be holding my mouth right. I have a client on 4.2 where remote access allows me to run MAS 90; however, their active company says their are no data files available and when I go to company maintenance, all modules show in the list but when I go to activate, it shows all modules as unactivated. I call the client and from her point of view, they all look activated. After I have attempted to access the active company, their users are asked to convert the data before they are allowed in. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks.

That does sound somewhat familiar. I'm trying to think where I've seen it.

Sounds like the remote version of MAS is pointing to a different version of MAS. is there one? Are they using alternate directories for their data?

I had it on my 4.50 client (MAS200). I think it ended up being a network security issue re the folder the files were in.

There is only one install and their users can see my test company fine. My remote session on the server is the only one that can't deal with the active company. No alternate directories. I have been working with the County's IT people to make sure i have sufficient rights. No cigar yet.

I actually had several fix attempts going on at the same time (like running WKSETUP as Admin, etc), but I think we did the test of going into MAS90/Home/Lib/Keys and seeing if we could create a folder and couldn't, so decided it was rights.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

At least in the Keys folder I don't have a problem creating, editing and deleting a file.

Try running the MAS90 icon As Administrator (assuming you're on an op sys that has that option)
