Sage 100

I must be losing it. I thought that Sage Intelligence now included a GL Consolidated Report that could be copied and modified to include multiple companies in the sub report database consolidation list. I does work like this for a client WITH the Connector module but I see no database consolidation list line for another client that does not have the Connector module. I understand the Connector module is required to make new containers for GL and other modules - but I thought they gave us the one GL Consolidation Financial Report container in v2015 upward. No?

I have not read anywhere about Sage adding this functionality without the Connector. Including Designer with maintenance makes sense, because almost all customers using SI for financial statements need that module. Most customers should have Connector if they are creating custom reports, but many do not need this, so they save the cost. Those that see the need are willing to pay for it, so why would Sage give up that revenue?

You must have the connector for multi company reports in SI. I noticed the Consolidated templates would not function in SI without the connector. I could only use the standard report designer templates.

I was thinking it was kind of a teaser. Like I said, losing it. Wonder why it's on the report list in the first place?
