I know there are some tools out there for scheduling Crystal - do they work when you are exporting (allow you to choose export format and file name and location)?

You might check with @AlnoorCassim as I think he has a scripts for this that he may be able to share or sell. I'm not sure on the scheduling part.

@BethBowers I don't know how to give you a URL or link in SocialCast to the thread and I'm unsuccessful using the Search tool too. But we discussed this at length in a thread started June 8 by @MarkKotyla (emailed you the thread separately ). The nutshell was use 1 of these 4 solutions for exporting and scheduling reports that do not have a worktable in them: 1) Manually via VB Script with examples attached 2) Use Logicity by SabreCity 3) Use Visual CUT by Millett Software 4) Knowledge Sync

VisualCUT also allows you to to electronically ""burst"" the report based on a report group. Nice when running a sales report for 50- sales people. They each get their own report, but you don't have to run it 50 times. VisualCUT jobs are run from batch files and you use Windows Task Scheduler to schedule :(. Jim Woodhead (DSD) recommended VisualCUT to me.

I still like Knowledge Sync the best because you can do so much more with the product.

Thanks everyone! I was gone all day and didn't see all the feedback I had. I'm going to test Visual Cut this weekend. I had emailed Ido my needs and he called me back about 1 minute after I sent the email - dang!
