  • 1.  I just connected to a Windows 8 computer with goto

    I just connected to a Windows 8 computer with gotomeeting and was unable to do a workstation install for Sage 100 without the end user intervention. The UAC was turned off for the user and we ran setup with the ""run as administrator"" option. Does anyone know of any other settings that need to be adjusted when connecting to Windows 8 computers remotely?

    This is a problem for me in win 7pro on occassion.

    @JeffSchwenk I have always been able to get around this on Windows 7 by turning off UAC and rebooting. Most of the times the users are local admins, so I am not sure if that is a requirement or not.
