I just bought a Nexus 6P Android phone. I am retiring the $49 Nokia Windows phone. What software do Android users sync the Outlook contacts and calendar? Recommendations?

Where do you have your Outlook contacts? Are they all stored locally? If so, I think Office 365 is something to look into. In that case you'll be able to sync email, contacts, calendar over the web automatically without any software on your desktop.

Yes Wayne. I have Outlook 2007 installed on my Windows 8.1 laptop. I like the concept the of the cloud sync, but not sure I like the subscription payment model.

It's the only way to go IMO. The days of milking the same version of Office for 10 years are largely done. https://products.office.com/en-us/business/office-365-business-premium

I just set up the cororate and Gmail accounts on my phone to synch. You can choose to synch email, contacts, calendar. Outlook 2007 on the desktop in one place. 2010 in another, plus 3 Gmail accounts. This gets the bits for work, personal and volunteer work all on my phone. Galaxy S4 on Verizon.

I just bought AkrutoSync for $35 this morning. It will sync my Outlook 2007 with my phone using either a wifi or a cellular connection. It took me a while to get it set up but seems to work great.

I also use AkrutoSync and am pleased with the contact and calendar synchronization.
