Sage 100

I installed version 4.50 fresh at a client yesterday, and when I tried to run it, it came up with no valid activation. (I had put the codes in.) I renamed activate.pvx, put their old 4.05 activate.pvx in its place, then MAS 90 started right up. When I checked the System Configuration, the codes were the same as what I see on Sage's website. Very odd.

Does an extra user appear since it is v4.50 now? If you put in the old codes from v4.05, you might be missing the free user. What if you regenerate the code on the web site?

We had this happen yesterday. The code activates sucessfully in registration and create a activate.pvx but it is not valid. You need to call Sage and have them regenerate a new code. I asked about this and they know there is an issue and they are ""Working on it"" AGH!!!

Haven't had a problem on new clients - is this just upgrades?

I didn't install until Friday, and noticed that I had updated registration keys that were generated on 10/27. Guess this was the fix to the issue.
