    I haven't done a lot with kits (no BM). Does anyone know if MAS will backorder exploded components on Sales Order if they're not available?

    Res ID 419516 is an enhancement request for this that appears to date back to 3.6. Engineering status shows NAB and Fix Expected in Prroduct Update: NS, which I expect means not scheduled.

    Yes I think NS means ""not scheduled"".

    I don't see an extended solution for this. I have never done a script for this, although it may be possible. It also does not appear it will automatically backorder components if you have the normal role security option turned off for overriding qty on hand?

    Thanks Dawn & John. Will have to see how badly client wants this feature.
