    I have two questions about SAGE 100 ERP Sales Order customization. Working with version 4.5 PU3. Trying to create a custom lookup that includes the User Code who created the Sales Order. Found a field called UserCreatedKey. Can I add a new field that converts the UserCreatedKey to the associated User Code? See attached screen shot. Second question is: I created a custom Sales Order grid entry screen that includes custom column headings for one user on one workstation. Can I somehow copy that custom grid entry to all other users and force that grid entry for everyone? Also can I ""lock down"" the grid entry so that no further changes can be made?

    Did you scroll down to the bottom and expand SY_User? It has the user code and name, etc.

    Thanks for recognizing the amazing things revealed in this group @JeffSchwenk. So many of us benefit from it. You know, I was just demoing with another software vendor and showed the ALE capabilities. They were very impressed with the ALE capabilities and want to record it so they can show their developers.

    If I remember correctly, you can create an entry for other users and copy the actual customizations from another users definition. There is a copy button amount the tools at the upper left when customizing screens.

    One of the many things I do during a new system set up is to tweak the global ALE's (assuming I find the correct ALE, but I digress). Usually, I will change the search to name or description constains. The problem with the global function is if you do it later in the set up, it will delete other's custom set ups which I claim ignorance when asked.

    @JohnBroadfoot I know that using Custom Office I can create a customized Sales Order entry panel under one user code and then assign that panel for ALL users. See attached Customizer screen shot. What I have done was without Custom Office. I just used the new Sales Oder grid entry and made many changes while logged in under my user code. How can I assign \ copy the Sales Oder grid entry customized under my user code so that ALL users use my screen?

    Found answer to my second question in the Sage 100 ERP (MAS 90 and 200) Community forum. Answer provided by Dawn Anastasi - see attached PDF. Grid Entry CANNOT be copied or locked. Requires that each user must be set up separately which may cause inconsistencies between user screens. Missing Dawn's input in 90 Minds, did she change jobs?

    Michael, Deleted the wrong message, but to reinforce the comments, you are correct. The customizations are either all users or one by one. This cannot be locked down once set. At a recent Product Advisory Council (PAC) marketing meeting, this functionality was pointed out as being a potential request. I've had numerous clients ask for this. Dawn was part of the call and noted that she had put this request out on the Sage 100 idea site. Please vote for it.

    Can you post a link to the enhancement request? With over 1400 requests, it is difficult to find the exact one quickly.

    Large customer sites with lots of data entry users ask for this type of consistent setup all the time. it's largely a pain to go one by one to setup the tabs and screen universally. Sage could greatly benefit from more people in product design who have recent field experience.
