I have some really geeky questions, so if anyone has their propeller beanie handy.. We had a conference call with a prospect whose IT guy asked 3 questions I not only could't answer - I hadn't even heard the terms before. Any assistance would be most welcome as Google is only giving me the basics: 1.Can the Sage 100 Premium Service utilize Load Balancers? 2.Does Sage 100 Premium have Session Affinity with one server? 3.Is every transaction from the Windows Client to the Sage Server Atomic? I'm thinking the answers are probably no, no and no - but it sure would be nice to get some documentation to send to the prospect. I'll also bug my old buddy Chris Powers to see what he says, but if anyone here has any links or advice that would be great.

Phew! At least he didn't ask about transaction commit and rollback.

I can say for sure the SAGE Windows Client is Atomic. My clients report that it ""blows up"" all the time! LOL

In general Sage 100 doesn't win many technology sales. And ditto for @JohnHoyt comment. And maybe it's my poor salesmanship but I usually also disclose that to the customer. Better to let them find it out now than after you are $45,000 into the project and they're upset looking for a refund.

Thanks @WayneSchulz - I have had many a discussion over the years about the shortfalls of the SPMs and that has always been a fun conversation, but I usually at least know the terminology. Yes, Sage has always been a bit behind the curve with technology. Thanks for the intelligent discourse, and thanks everyone else for the good chuckles.
