I have several clients using MS Fax and Paperless, but one place keeps having problems. Current issue is it's putting a +1 instead of just a 1 on the numbers. I haven't logged in yet to look at it, but does anyone know of any reg edits that need to be done to MS Fax to make sure it handles long distance correct from MAS?

I thought it uses Windows settings for dialing rules.

There are some dialing rules that can be checked out as part of the fax driver configuration. I think it is in Fax Server menu that is separate from teh Fax monitor application.

OK, I give up. I've compared dialing rules between two clients - one has their faxing working perfectly and the other...does not. Network guy of course blames MAS - but I see that the format sitting in unsent faxes is exactly the same as it was last week when it was working, so I think NOT. What do people use for faxing via emails? eFax? Something else? Something that works with MAS's format?

We have a customer that uses faxing via email and they use MyFax -- Protus.

@ClarkWalliser also had same inconsistent dialing rules issue with 1 client last year and ended up finding a faxing via email service too.

Well. come to find out, the client was already using RingCentral for their INCOMING faxes! DOH! So we're testing some outgoing faxes today, but this should be an easy transition - YAY!
