I have not actually tried this yet, but it looks like a great idea if you need to send reports to Excel on a regular basis from SQL. It is open source on GitHub, so adapting it to other data sources is likely possible. https://itsalljustelectrons.blogspot.com/2018/11/Introducing-SQL-to-Excel.html

I would typically use Visual Cut, but another tool in the tool kit is always a good thing.
