I have been using Price Code and Price Level for quite some time.. But it has always been with Discount %. I just want to confirm that when a customer selects the METHOD of COST MARKUP %, the cost it is using is the Standard Cost. Will it use the Standard Cost even if the items valuation method is FIFO/AVG/LIFO/LOT/SERIAL???? If that is the case, then you would need to update the standard cost on a regular basis....Does not make sense... I am in v2016. Thanks

Yes, it uses Standard Cost as the basis for the cost markup, no matter what the valuation method is.

Yes, we have a customer where we have a routine scheduled every night to update their standard costs from average cost for this reason.

I want to use SO invoice instead of PO issues to issue inventory to cost centers. Is updating Standard cost every night the only way to set the price to equal the cost?
