I have been thinking about buying a document scanner. Are there any suggestions other than the NeatDesk which seems to fit what I am looking for.

A lot of CPA firms are using the Fujitsu 6100 series scanners

I've been using a Fujitsu since 2006. Never had one bit of trouble with it (knock on wood). The 6100 mentioned above is what I recommend to clients. A bit pricey but it comes with Adobe Acrobat standard which you'll find very useful. Drop me a line if you want to discuss how I use my system.

Thanks for the recommendations, got one through Dell with my Dell credit while it was a little more than Amazon it was cheaper than getting direct from Fujitsu. Do like the size and was easy to setup.
