I have been quoting the in-Family discount (say, moving from Sage 50 to Sage 100c) as 25% off the activation fee. But Sage actually sent out an email giving that promo on the activation fee PLUS the whole first year, which is alot more savings. This was for March, but be advised. I guess this went directly to prospects but was not a promo we had on our promo list. I got it approved, anyway, because the customer brought it to the table. http://app.go.na.sage.com/e/es.aspx?s=493551783&e=843555&elqTrackId=4d51e7a953e04df083355574f329a3fd&elq=b8286aeb49274ad7a8d1c18069cb15e0&elqaid=15653&elqat=1

Technically couldn't Sage say this only applies to Sage 100 since they don't name Sage 100c? Nice find! Thank you

They could, but they didn't. I have a little egg on my face for quoting it on just the Activation fee and then having Sage say (in the 3-way conversation) that it was on the whole first year. But it did incent the client to close.

It has been my repeated experience that you cannot find 3 people at Sage to interpret their polices the same way. Completely serious.
