I have an inquiry about converting data out of Platinum for Windows. Anyone know what the database for that is?

was it BBX?

I converted data out of PFW years ago. I can't remember exactly what sort of DB it was but I'm pretty sure I got the data from an ODBC connection.

@NicoleRonchetti - was it simple or painful?

Pervasive?

I don't remember it being too terrible. I think Wayne is right I think maybe it was Pervasive. I'll check with one of my former coworkers though and see if they can remember. I'll post back if their memory is better than mine.

Yeah I got confirmation its Pervasive / Btrieve. You can get the data out through ODBC. Not a terrible conversion. The data file names arent terrible.

Also - I would take on a PFW conversion before doing like a Quickbooks conversion. If that helps put it into perspective for you.
