I have an existing user who receives the error "" The quantity packed does not match the quantity shipped for the following items ..."" in the shipping module. They are on Sage 100 2016 Advanced PU 5 Sage sent use a SO_Shipping_ui.pvc fix. Sage thought this would fix the issue but it doesn't appear to have fixed it. From what I can tell the issue mostly appears in larger shipments of 100 or more boxes. I didn't get the feeling Sage really knew what was going on and they suggested this fix despite the customer having previously applied 2016.5 as suggested by Sage -- ""because this patch didn't make it to PU 5"". At the 100 or more package size I also feel that this customer is at a disadvantage as there probably aren't a lot of companies routinely shipping that many boxes in a single order. Has anyone else chased this error and found a different resolution? There are probably 1/2 dozen error reports on this error. Many of the errors seem related to earlier versions like 2013/2014 and hopefully would have been patched by 2016.

What about the SO role maintenance option to allow overship of invoice in shipping

It's not always overpacked. I have messages that say Quantity Shipped = 0, Quantity Packed = 220 Then on another line Quantity Shipped = 5, Quantity Packed = 0

There may be something related on the release notes for 2017 SU3 - not sure if this is it, and also not sure if it was fixed in 2016 at the same time.... SO #4 - In Shipping Data Entry, when entering a shipped quantity and clicking the Next Package No. or Item Packaging buttons, the row is now saved.

Are the users always hitting the tab or enter key after entering the shipped quantity so they are moved to the next line or do they enter the quantity and use the mouse to click the Next Package No or any other button for that matter. Based on what Jeff Fiddelman said, I wonder if there are any buttons in the client's install that doesn't take the focus away from the grid which in turn might cause the row to not be committed.
