    I have an existing MAS 200 4.3 customer that is buying a business that is running MAS 200 4.2. The company being acquired is using Avalara but it seems like overkill for the low number of taxable transactions they have (around 400 per year). Does anyone know if there are any issues with dropping Avalara and going back to using the sales tax schedules in MAS 200?

    You will need to change all the tax schedules in the customers and open orders.

    I think DSD does that interface so if there's a program related issue I'm sure they could answer.

    Other than setting up the tax schedules and doing what Dawn describes, you shouldn't have any issues. Simply by changing the tax schedule to something other than AVATAX takes Avalara our of the picture. Another consideration is what to do with the historical tax data housed on the Avalara server.
