    I have an end user on Sage 100 v2016 who wants to renumber employees. From memory, you can only do this at the end of the year after you close the year but before new transactions.     I believe you can change the employee number at any time. But, I would not renumber an employee to an employee number that was previously used. A client did that and Sage combined the history from the previous employee and the renumbered employee together.
