Sage 100

I have a user asking about rounding errors when Sage 100 payroll posts workers compensation accrual. Apparently, it must be off enough to throw the GL OOB. I haven't had customers use the WC accrual so I don't know if this is a known issue or something else. Has anyone run into this?

I have had various issues with regard to rounding in payroll over the years and the majority of mine were from the client using more than two digits to the right of the decimal when they are entering pay rates and hours, i.e., $10.415 per hr. I'm not sure if that is their issue however you might want to check what they are using.

We had a similar problem with rounding. Keep everything to 2 decimals on input and all should be good.

We have had similar issues when clients enter or import rates with more than 2 decimal places. Sometimes it will post an out of balance entry by .01
