I have a UDF in the AR Invoice History Header file. I've added the UDF to the AR Transaction Payment History file and want to populate it from the Invoice history file. I wrote a VI export and got the information out of the Invoice History Header. The VI import includes all the required fields and the populated UDF. When I test the import with one test record the test is successful and the log says the record has been imported but the UDF field is still empty. Any thoughts? TIA

any chance the log says successful with invalid fields? I hate to state the obvious but then again always like to check that first.

The log has Passed for all the fields in the import. Below that in green it has Skipped for all the fields.

V 2013 by the way. I tried the import in ABC company. Didn't work if I did a test first but worked if I clicked on accept without a test. Did the same thing in the live company. When I look at the UDF it's empty but if I export the record it shows the info in the UDF field so the import worked. Anyone know why I wouldn't see it in DFDM but it's there?

Are you sure you don't have duplicate records in the AR Transaction Payment History file?

DFDM showed 239361 records before the import and the same number now and when I toggle through those records I don't see duplicates. But the funny thing is when I type info in the key find it doesn't go the invoice but it was doing that from the first time I went into DFDM

I made a test company. Rebuilt the AR Transaction Payment History file which took almost 4 hours to run. Almost gave up on it. Seemed to fix any issues. The import works if you don't do a test first. Thanks all!

I find that test really doesn't test.........

And not only that but I forgot how a test can do bad things to live data.
