I have a Sage 100 Standard 2016.5 user who has Payroll and Job Cost / Timecard. They are moving to Paychex and hoping that they won't have to continue to pay the Sage Payroll subscription. Paychex is going to have a timeclock and track jobs and hours. I have never had an instance where Paychex or ADP passed back anything but an AJE to Sage. I'm hoping (or , rather, the customer is hoping that Paychex could pass this info so they can discontinue the Sage payroll and timecard fees. Anyone have recent experience with this either positive or negative?

I have several customers using ADP and they get GL entries back. I'm pretty sure Paychex can do the same.

Wayne - you're looking for the Job info back right? My client's payroll company ""Paylocity"" is creating a custom export for the Total Hours & Wages by Job, along with certain items set at Burden. I've create an Import into JC Entry. We haven't tested yet, but that's the idea. Because my client doesn't post from JC to GL (don't ask!) they will get a second export for the GL side of the entry. Prior to knowing the 'doesn't post from JC to GL', I planned to use a clearing account so the AJE's didn't double up. I would think 'for a price' that Paychex or ADP could do the same.

Yes, I've done the Pay to GL integrations but never a Pay to JC. I think this customer hasn't thought the integration out very well and is in for a surprise. It's one of those sites where ""oh my accountant loads my Sage upgrade for me"".

Paychex can provide a wide variety of reports, printed or exported. One customer gets summary and detail reports by department by employee, plus, benefit reports. We worked with the salesrep from Paychex to tailor the output to the customer's needs.
