I have a product that we have built for SageCRM that integrates with Accpac to allow companies to manage their receivables calls better. For details, see: http://www.technotropic.com/collection-management.html I am interested in making a MAS integrated version of this. Is there anyone in 90 Minds that is interested in helping with this project? With Accpac, we used the open programming interface to get the data to display correctly - works like a charm. MAS is a lot more cryptic though (at least to us). Any one willing to assist?

Give me a shout. I like to help on beta projects.

Thanks Jeff! I'll mark you down to be a guinea pig ^H^H^H^H early beta tester. Right now though, I'm looking for some folks to help with the technical side of it - pulling out the Aged Receivables data from MAS. Without the data feed, there will be nothing to beta test. Can you assist with that or recommend someone?

I am not the one to help but it seems all of the information for the aging would be coming from the open invoice file.

I think that would be within the realm of my ability. As Gene notes, most of the data will be in Open Invoice. Give me a shout.

Peter - Have you made any progress with this yet? Did you see the Component that was at the early Summit session? That might be a good spot to find some of the detail you need for development. We have several clients that would be interested if you have something available.

@Kevin - Robert Wood was kind enough to discuss the technical nature of MAS connectivity a while back but nothing really came of it. I would like to discuss it with you further if you have time. Obviously, if I knew I had some customers lined up, it would make it a lot easier to justify the investment in building out the product.

Open invoice file would be too slow unless the client was one of the few on SQL. You have to think all these things through carefully with Sage due to the painfully slow drivers. Perhaps some background routine that updates the data hourly or something or using Dan's famous pass through queries if thats practical

Is the open invoice table in the mas mirror database that CRM uses?

Another thought - DSD SQL Mirroring

Anything special about the DSD SQL Mirroring? We have clients mirroring via SQL without any special products.

I would imagine that's too much extra cost for the overall products

@KevinWesley The DSD SQL Mirroring is more an out of the box solution. I'm aware that all manner of make tables and other queries can be self designed to mimic the functionality.

@KevinWesley - sorry for the delayed response. What's your schedule look like over the next few weeks?
