I have a MAS 200 customer who has Business Alerts electing the SQL version of MAS 200, and was told by Sage sales that they would lose the Business Alerts functionality because it is not supported with MAS 200 SQL. I have not been able to get an answer to why that is.
Since Business Alerts works via ODBC and is also sold with Accpac, which uses a SQL database, I strongly suspect it is not technical at all, but a corporate pissing match trickling down on the peons.
Has anyone heard from Sage the why of this?
