I have a MAS 200 4.30 to 4.40 migration that keeps giving me ""xCopyFile returned the following error - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."" I'm using a copy of the MAS90 folder for the migration, there are no users accessing files.

If the MAS 200 service isn't stopped, stop it and kill any pvxwin32 processes on the server, then try coping.

Have you tried rebooting the server to make sure there aren't any files in use or locked even if it appears that no one is accessing it?

Any chance you can use the active copy of MAS for the migration?

Could some one have been in it while you made the copy? Try making a new copy and make sure you have admin rights? I remember something like this happened to me and I also copied it to another machine.

I think I remember getting once and I had to run the migration in MAS 90 mode.

also might want to try running Migrate.exe from the ...MAS90\Migration folder - sometimes this has been the only way I was able to get it to work

One other thought would be to be sure the FAS service is off
