I have a large produce wholesaler who wants to scan invoices that have been signed by the customer and manage these invoices for historical purposes. I'm looking for recommendations on scanner hardware and the related document management software.

The Fujitsu line of scanners can't be beat. Comes with Scandall scanning software and Adobe Acrobat Standard if you want to do it yourself. http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/Fujitsu-fi-6110-Document-Scanner/2262607.aspx Of course there is ACOM or Doc Link that integrates with MAS. I believe Jim W @ DSD has a good size project going on with Doc Link. I have a client using ACOM.

Thanks for input Jeff. We us the Fujitsu Fi-6130 inhouse for tax return scanning. My wholesale client got a quote from a vendor for a Panasonic KV-S4085CW Smart Color Scanner at $9,000. Seems like overkill?

Fujitsu has higher end models available.
