I have a customer with a BM UDF field. (v4.50.5) She says when she creates a new bill and copies from an existing one, it no longer copies over the UDF. She swears it used to do so. Does anyone know if UDF's get copied in general, e.g. in IM Maintenance, when the copy function is used?

You can, but you'd have to define the UDF and source it as such.

The UDF is already defined in BM but if she copies one BM to a new one, the UDF is NOT copied over @MarkKotyla . My question is, should it?

Only if it's defined that way.
