I have a customer who said backordered lines are not appearing on invoices and she gave me an example. When I look in Invoice History, sure enough, it does not include the backordered lines, even though the order is still in SO Entry with two backordered lines. My question is, how does an invoice get updated WITHOUT including backordered lines?? Is it a security thing of some sort? She did say there is a new user doing it. I could not recreate it.

It's a setup option in AR, but that would apply across the board, not user by user....

There is a security option about not being ABLE to back order, but again - doesn't seem to apply here. So they don't appear on the original invoice, right?

That's what she says. Where in AR is the option to not include backordered lines? (Can't find it!)

@ThereseLogeais is the scenario that they print on the original invoice but not on the invoice if printed from history? That's how I thought it worked.

No, I don't think so @BrettLyder . She insists it's on original invoices as well.

That's weird - I would swear it used to be there, but now all I see is Deleted Invoices and Comment Lines. AH, wait - it's in SALES ORDER Setup - History tab.

Look in SO setup options, tab 7 History

Yep, that's it. Geez, you'd think we'd have those setup options memorized by now.
