I have a customer who has been revived from the dead. They still have their software but want to create a new company with all the same master data. Copying the Chart of Accounts is a no-brainer, but in the MAS 4.x (4.5 in their case) world, what is best practice for duplicating customers, vendors and inventory items. In the old days we could copy individual files rather easily, but is that still safe? Is VI the answer?
