I have a customer trying to enter cc info for a foreign address but it won't let them get past the state and zip code fields. Workaround? SPS and Sage 100 v2015.

I believe their merchant account must be setup to process foreign credit card transactions. I don't think there are any special fees to set it up but SPS will most likely need to flip a switch or make it active on their account. It is also possible that I am remembering this incorrectly, but I am pretty sure this is correct.

I am fairly sure they've used cc's from this customer in the past. They just went to 2015. Their account shouldn't have changed.

Oh, I'm wondering if you found a bug. I would definitely contact SPS then to let them know. I agree with you that you shouldn't have to re-enable it.

This happened to me a couple months ago, and I ended up calling SPS. They had to change something on their end. They did tell me that SPS does not validate foreign addresses though, so you may want to try without it.

SPS says to put something into the state and zip fields, e.g. SS 55555. As you said @MarkKotyla, foreign addresses are NOT validated but you need to put something into those fields in order to proceed.

Lazy programming. If country code not US, then don't bother validating state/zip! Instead, users have to enter bogus data.

SAGE needs to add foreign address capabilities to all their modules starting with zip code validation in Library Master. I'm about to lose a very high profile and long term client because the Payroll module is lacking in it's ability to handle a foreign address.

@MichaelMcDonald - Perhaps they saw the new PR support pricing....

@JeffSchwenk - That will be the last straw for them. They will definitely be looking for a replacement payroll system.
