General Consultant Discussion

I have a customer that is using UPS for an Operational Assessment and redesign project for their distribution warehouse. We have been working with that team to extract data from Sage 100 to feed into their tools and working with the customer to review the current business process outside of ERP but physically in the put away - pick pack. It seems that many of our customers can benefit from these types of analysis and they are recurring as business volumes are consistently changing, etc. I think I probably know 60% of what they would probably recommend but the remaining 40% will most likely pay for itself in months and it is driving a whole lot of consulting project opportunities for us! Go BROWN!

This seems like a great additional service - especially since it is aimed right at Sage 100's sweet spot - wholesale distribution. Hopefully you can give us all a summary of it at Summit.

They will not complete the engagement until mid August - but I think there is a lot of things that I will be able to share. Better yet - to me they are recommendations that are ""well that is pretty obvious - why didn't we think of that!"" Most impressive Business Process project I have seen from a 3rd party in a long time!
