I have a customer on Sage 100 wanting to track lot and/or serial numbers of components that are used in production entries to make finished good items. They want to be able to know what finished good a particular lot or serial number of a component was used to create. Is anyone doing this? TIA

I know that ACS MultiBin can do that, but I think you can just use standard Sage 100 and report against the IM_LotSerialTransactionHistory table. TransactionCode = BI for component use, BR for production.

Researched this for a prospect and ditto Steve - ACS Expiration Date Control & Vendor Lot Traceability will do this.

Pretty sure this came up ~6 months or so ago and consensus was ACS

Thanks guys. You are saving me hours of time. Is it safe to assume that the ACS product requires MultiBin as well?

Yes, you'd need MultiBin + the Expiration / Vendor Lot add-on that @JaneCavanaugh mentioned.
