I have a customer getting an error message in IM Inquiry Error #26: Variable type invalid Program: AR_ARNEMBEDDEDIO Line 1367 It's MAS 200 4.30. They do have ACS Multi Bin. They are getting it in Item Inquiry on the transactions tab after selecting the warehouse. It appears to be specific to the one item and warehouse. Has anyone else seen this?

I'm assuming the WH is a multi-bin enabled WH? Any UDF's on CI_Item? Maybe try updating those and running the custom office utilties

There are UDFs but they'r not being used in this company. Multi bin is enabled for the warehouse, but not the items.

That's going to be a date-field conversion. Check DFDM on the trans file for that item and warehouse.

Send a quick note off to Chompf to see if this is his error message?

I don't see any bad dates. I'll send Ron an email, but I don't think it's the multi bin.

Odd that AR anything would be accessed from Item Inquiry !

I think it's the first invoice for the item for the month.

I think it checks it to figure out whether or not the invoice is available for drill down.

Got it! It was a bad ship date format in the AR Invoice History Header file. It was formatted at MM/DD/YYYY instead of YYYYMMDD.

@PeterWolf Good for you. This is one of those problems best solved by the big boys.
