Sage 100

I have a current prospect who uses Epicor LumberTrack for their operations and they are looking to integrate that with a GL package. Was wondering if anyone has any experience integrating with Sage 100 GL? Thanks,

What level of integration are they looking for. Just JE imports?

Hi Jeff, From what I know so far that is all they intend to do. I have not seen LumberTrack so I am not sure if in fact it has the ability to export data in an easy to use format to use VI to import the journal entries. It appears that it can do it based on the limited materials I have seen but wanted to know if anyone has actually had to do this for a client.

Everything is dependent on the output. Worst case is that you develop an Access database to reformat the file so that VI can import it.

Thanks Jeff. I've done that before for a couple of other integrations but was hoping someone had experience with the output so I can determine whether I need to go that route or not.

Aahh Gotcha - I always request a CSV or tab delimited file with columns defined. Spent way too many non billable hours trying to figure out the someone else's export.
