I have a client with MAS 4.30 and e Business Manager. They are looking for an alternative to ebm that will allow them to have a look and feel that matches their website. They have looked at Website Pipeline and it is out of their price range. Does anyone have any other suggestions or know of any other options? Thanks, Pam

Angela Goldsmith with ISM has always been helpful when trying to look at alternatives to eBusiness.

Pam - We offer an affordable alternative option leveraging EBM and providing services to compliment the design of the client site on a fixed fee. Let me know if you'd like a demo to see if its something you'd like your client to evaluate. Info attached.

I've got clients who went with hosted sites that can send order data back. The order data goes into MAS using Business Objects Interface. Downside is having to maintain data on the web site like products, specific customer pricing and quantity available. For example, If the hosting site can send XML data back via HTTPS and the site can use Sage Payment Solutions, you can get it in MAS and have MAS process the credit card transaction (post-authorization).

I have a client with EBM who wants to move to MAS 200 SQL, but that module is not available in SQL. Has anyone developed an integration with any of the open source shopping carts using BOI or the web services module? @PeterWolf, can the SageCRM portal display the customer's order history and open invoices from MAS?

@PhilMcIntosh - it can do that but it would require a little elbow grease. The Sage CRM portal is really just an API that provides access to the Sage CRM constructs (screens, lists, data, etc.) and it's up to the client / their consultant to flesh out the solution for their specific needs. We've done about two dozen different portals at this point so we can assemble ""basic"" portals fairly quickly. Something like this would require us to work with a MAS partner to build it out. If we thought there were more clients that would be interested in something like this (I would think there would be), we could price it as a package vs a project. I'm definitely interested if there is interest from the community. Of course, I'm always interested in project work too so if there is no greater interest to building a package, we could still discuss the details. I can be reached at 1.312.513.9333 or pwolf@azamba.com if you want to talk.
