I have a client who needs to efile/submit W-2c's for over 200 employees... Anyone familiar with any programs that could assit her? She accidentally submitted 2013 data rather than 2012 data so the IRS is requesting W-2c's to replace the incorrect file.

Aatrix ought to be able to do this. If for some reason the customer can't use the integrated version, @LeeGraham has written a Crystal report to grab the data needed to use in the standalone Aatrix. Assuming they saved a copy of the company with 2012 payroll data intact, or have a backup...

I believe Aatrix will allow you to submit W2c's and I think they can make the corrections to the filing by going to the Existing Reports in Federal e-Filing & reporting, selecting the 2012 W2 filing and then clicking View/Edit

Here is an option from the 'Something completely different' file. We had a client use a program called 1099 Pro to process W=2G's and were very happy with the tool. They have tools for processing W-2's as well. You can import data into the system to avoid rekeying the data. You can get more information from www.1099pro.com.

I've seen a lot of customers use programs similare to what @ShawnSlavin mentions. I think they like the flexibility and ease of controlling all the data (which can definitely work against you if you make incorrect adjustments).

We wrote a Crystal report and exported the PR data to a spreadsheet, then uploaded it to Aatrix for a customer's W2's. It takes a few tweaks - but one customer has done this the last 2 years.

seems like this approach work for PR-1090 multiple local payroll enhancement. it is currently not supported in efiling.
