I have a client who is trying to run a custom report from Sage Intelligence and is getting a hard lock when trying to update their fiscal year or period. They are running Sage 100 Advanced 2013 pu4, Sage Intelligence 4.5, and Excel 2016 (looks like 365). A number of fields are returning the error code ""Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A9C68"". I've installed the compatibility fix from the Sage KB, confirmed that prereqs are installed, and proper permissions are in place. The report was last run without errors on Monday 1/9. Any ideas?

    You could try this: http://www.sageintelligencecommunity.com/forum/topics/hresult-0x800a9c68-financial-report-designer-add-in-1-0

Excel 365 is not compatible with SI. It doesn't matter if you install the compatibility fix, it still won't work.

@DougHiggs - Thanks, I was afraid that was the case, but I was hoping I was wrong.

I used this patch for Excel 2016 with Sage Intelligence. http://www.sageintelligencecommunity.com/forum/topics/excel-2016

@Moira Goggin and @Nicole Ronchetti -- thanks, unfortunately neither of those worked.

You have to install a local copy of Excel. If you are still trying to use Excel 365 it will never work. Excel 365 is deployed in the cloud. You need a local copy.

@Doug Higgs, noted. As it turns out, the issue might not be the version of Excel at all. In our call today, the client noted that she changed a couple of formulas on Monday before it stopped working.
