I have a client using Ascent Automated Services. They are frustrated and reluctant to upgrade because of issues with Automated Services after the upgrade each time. I don't want to move them to IIG. I don't know enough about Job Ops. Their primary need is scheduling boards.

@LarryBradford I can review on Monday the JobOps Field Service and Dispatch, and answer any questions, if that works.

@JohnHoyt , That would be great to review but Monday will not work. I have much more flexibility later in the week. Tuesday Thursday and Friday are the most available.

Small world. Just approached today by 3.71 customer who said it is time to upgrade and they use Ascent! Hopefully not the same customer :) We've been the ROR all along so I don't think it is. Can't wait to look into this one.

This is a longtime client. I think they are on 2014 or so. My experience is the same with most of these complex enhancements. They build them. The upgrades need additional testing before upgrading. They are not maintained for additional features.

Enhancements to markets outside Sage 100cloud's core wholesale/distribution tend to be more trouble. No problems with these core ISV solutions - I've done an unusual number of upgrades with third parties this past year: - Avalara (no biggy once you find the current DL for the current program version) - Scanforce (they do all the heavy lifting and upgrade help is included in the maintenance - seldom an issue) - Starship (Tends to be pretty simple though their website is still very light on helpful technical info - have to call them to move a customer to Starship link 2.0 - once on the phone tech is very good) - DSD enhancements (Not independent here but so long as you download the latest release and install it prior to contacting them for support you have a pretty easy time - I had a weird issue that they took care of pretty quickly behind the scenes and fixes if any seem to come fast) - CIMcloud - (similar to Scanforce - they manage their end of any upgrade - pretty trouble free) - Sage CRM (my most dreaded portion of an upgrade about 2 years ago actually turned out to be the easiest - Azamba managed the whole process including integration) - xkzero (simple install and they will login at go-live and manage their end)

Long shot, but if they're in the right industry, there is Service Trade, which we have integrated for some clients. servicetrade.com
