I have a client that the Sage 100ERP eBusiness Web Services Application Pool continues to stop once it is exited. I've been on support with Sage with no success so far and also have googled it and I cannot see anything in the settings that will cause this. They are using Server 2012R2 with IIS8. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can keep this running and not shut down once exited? Please advise and thank you!

Are you staring in and RDP session? If so, run it from the console and not through an RDP session.

Are there any settings that will cause this to shut down after exiting?

I believe it is the nature of terminal services to exit all processes when a session ends. There may be settings in AD to keep your terminal session running forever. In that case you would exit the session without logging out. Running from console is a much better answer.

Gary even when I close out the main window while still on the server and reopen the application pool it will shut it down. Can you tell me how you do it the other way?

I'm thinking this is a permission issue. I'm waiting for a Senior Tech to call me back. The one I spoke to had no idea of why this was shutting down while I was still on the server.
