I have a client that let me know yesterday they are opening a division/company in china and want to go live 9/1 (thus the ""urgent Support needed"" status). They will need multi-currency add on which I'm working on. But they also requested being able to print various forms (Purchase orders, invoices specifically) in Mandarin. I assume I can change any of the ""hard coded"" text on the crystal form to print in Mandarin. However, I'm guessing that any data fields on the form will have to print in English. Has anyone had experience with this? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

We have a Sage 500 client with an office in Hong Kong that sends invoices with a Chinese banner (company name, address, telephone) that is a graphic copied from their letterhead. The rest of their invoice is basic stuff - English field labels and English text in item descriptions. Since the reports are a Crystal Reports, at a minimum you could replace the field labels with graphics of Chinese text. It won't be as efficient as text, but it will work. I don't think you will be able to translate the data. You should confirm with your client what is needed/required. They may also have experience creating documents with Chinese text that you can leverage.

Hey David - I have a partner in my Billiard company that is fluent in Mandarin and know Crystal somewhat. Not sure if it would be helpful, but I am sure he would be willing to help.
