I have a client that just purchased a Win 7 64 bit workstation. When they are logged in as local Admin everything is fine, but when they are logged in as either the Domain user or Domain Administrator paperless office hangs. I have set appropriate security on the Sage PDF converter printer, run MAS as Administrator, manually registered the DLL, made the domain user and domain administrator a member of the local admin group, etc, but no luck. I am sure it is a security issue, but what / where? Any ideas?

Is this in framework or legacy modules? I had a JobOps Win7 issue where I had to change the paperless office path from server name to IP address on legacy journals (JobOps is part legacy, part framework).

@PhilMcIntosh's post reminded me of something that I came across several months ago (which I believe using the IP address resolved but I can't be positive) - so it's definitely worth trying to muck with the PDF Directory folder path in the Paperless Setup screen(s). May even wish to try a local path just to try and isolate the issue.

Thanks. This is in the new framework.

I ran across something similar with a new upgrade this spring. The paperless office would work if it was sent from one email but not another. It was as if the email wouldn't work if it was a distribution list, it had to be a single-level address. This support ticket went on forever for me and it ended up being the IT department that finally fixed it (which supports your suspicion of security). I will get in touch with them and try to get a concise answer of what fixed it.

As an update to this - it appears as though the problem was that the ""My Documents"" folder had been moved a mapped drive on the server. When it was moved back to the ""default"" loacation everything was fine. Does anybody know why this is and is there a work around? This is on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. Thanks!
