I have a client that just purchased a company in the UK and want to bring them onto their Sasge 100 2015 Advanced here in the USA. We tested Remote Desktop but because of where the UK company is located in the UK, they cannot get good Internet. It is running painfully slow. They have other remote users logging in daily and it works great, so we know the problem is not from here. Does anyone have other suggestions or has done somethjing similar? Mirrored server, local install, or any other way to get them connected? They will be using the Financial and Distribution modules. TIA

If remote desktop isn't working, good luck with anything else that requires connectivity.

Maybe something browser based, such as iSales or blyMobile? Or a second server install with a second MAS company that you then sync when needed?

Steve, second server installed locally in the uk would work but they want it all in one company for consolidated reporting and visibility into each other's operations. How would you merge the data, even if it's delayed a day or two.

I would probably synch the company files back and forth on a schedule and then use BizNet or SI for the reporting.

sorry Steve, but I must be missing something. How would you sync if it's the same company code. They want everything to be in one company code in Sage 100. Unless you mean a bunch of VI jobs running for every transcation that occurs.

You'd want it to be a 2nd MAS company. If there'll be constant intercompany transactions, it's probably a really bad idea, but if they just want consolidated reports, it might work well.
