I have a client that is on MAS200 4.4. They need VI. Cheapest way to get VI was to upgrade them to 100c or cloud or whatever the ""nom du jour"" is - LOL. In the process of upgrading they decided to drop users and go from Complete to Advanced Bundle and from Advanced to Standard Edition. Talk about a paperwork nightmare, but I digress.
So, here's the question; can I use the new keys to install VI in version 4.4? Will they work on the old version? Has anyone ever done that?
They will do an upgrade eventually, but not right now. Trying to get them what they need with the least amount of disruption.
