    I have a client that is on MAS 200 3.71 and when they try and open the Recurring JE menu item it opens and then rapidly closes. Any ideas on what would be causing this and the best way to fix? It works fine in the test company, but not the main one .

    First thing I'd try is taking the test data files and swapping them to live. Observe if they open ok. I'm not sure if there's more than header/line recurring that you'd need to swap.

    Maybe rebuild the recurring JE files in Repair Utilities - if empty, re-initialize. Files: GLA and GLB

    OK thanks. We ultimately had to reinitialize the files (GLA and GLB).

    Moot point now but one traditional reason for that is GLB (legacy index file) is missing the very 1st record known as the Zero Index (the main control record found in every index file). Analyze and Relink would put it back (but make a backup first).

    @AlnoorCassim We actually tried to Analyze and Relink but that did not solve the issue in this case.
