  • 1.  I have a client that is intermittently receiving a

    I have a client that is intermittently receiving an input / output error in Sy_Session.pvc at line 7061 in Sage 100 Standard. I have replaced SY_Workstation, SY_Console and SY_Activitylog but they are still receiving it. Any other thoughts?

    Do they have any third party products installed?

    I've had this error in the past when the Windows profile of the user is damaged/corrupted.

    Good to know @RonGouveia I had someone with this error recently and couldnt see what would be causing it. @JohnLeonard do they get kicked out of what they are doing when they get that message?

    When they receive the error, Sage freezes up.

    Yes, that is my experience also that when you get this error Sage freezes.

    Hi - is this one user or all users. One thing we found is to try using the UNC path in the 2 places in the shortcut, instead of the mapped drive letter... Windows 10 seems to have more issues with mapped drives.... Jeff
