  • 1.  I have a client that gets this error 88 every once

    I have a client that gets this error 88 every once in a while when updating Daily Sales Reports/Update Register ( 4.50.6). They can go to another workstation and update or she can reboot her machine and then update with no problem. It has to do with her machine but have no idea on what to even look for since it doesn't happen all the time. Any thoughts appreciated.

    Error 88's are often hardware related. Could be printer or network connection. Could be an issue with the printer in general. I think there was one on paper size selected in the printer.

    Ok if printer wouldn't I get the error all the time? I was thinking connection but don't know what to tell the IT guys to look for LOL.

    Thanks @RobertWood saw that one but we are updating sales journal when it happens and again only happens once in a while and not all machines. But I will try this and see if it helps. Thanks again...

    That certainly sounds like a connection or printer issue.
