I have a client swearing he is clicking the yes to post daily transaction registers and they are not posting but sitting in DTR later. I feel like it is a user error. Have any of you seen something else.

I presume he isn't also getting an error after printing.

Did you verify that he isn't previewing them and ""update from preview"" is turned off?

Does he have permissions to update? I think I had a client who could view/print the registers but couldn't post them.

Only occasionally having the issue. Like I said, I think it is a SUE (Silly User Error).

No errors and receiving the prompt from preview. He is saying he is clicking yes and seeing the request to post. My thought is he is clicking the enter button and it is defaulted to ""no"".

Is this happening in a specific module? We have seen issues in the inventory module where the user will enter a batch of transactions and post it but not print/update the DTR and enter another batch later the same day, post it and print/update the DTR expecting that it will grab the GL postings from both batches and they only get the most recent batch.

Is client using Paperless Office for Registers? If so the Paperless Office Viewer would at least indicate if the register was updated.

This is always inventory but his procedure is to post each batch.

Tell the client you want to observe him print and attempt to update the dtr.
