I have a client running Sage 100 advancec 2013 on a Windows 2012 server. I have loaded the CS ODBC service, and it is running. The issue is that it does not show in the services on the machine. I know its running because I can see it in task manager and everyone using CS odbc runs fine. I just can't see it in services and so I can't stop or restart it. It's not urgent but I would like to correct this for client

In 4.5 I believe it's named ""Providex IO Service""; do you see that listed? Not sure if it's the same name in v2013. Fyi, I installed a new module for a 4.5 client that has this running. I did not disable it during the install, but upon trying to print some reports afterwards, they would just hang and not come up. So I did have to stop and re-start that Service, and then the reports worked.

I have not logged on to check myself but my contact confirms it is not listed as that. It was the first thing I had them check, in case they thought it was under something else. I hope we don't run into that issue since we can't seem to stop it through services. Maybe a reinstall would work.

I found that in 2013 it is called different. The Service is named ""Sage 100 ERP Client Server ODBC Driver Service"" and it is there, whew!
