I have a client on Sage Std 4.4 and through an error generated when sync'ing to (Dan Burleson's) Shadow Access discovered there is a sales order in sales order history with no number (it's basically a blank record, no number, no customer, no date, the blank date generates the date error in Access) I also discovered, that there are over 9000 records in the SalesOrderHistoryDetail file with no sales order number. Rebuilding keys does not remove them (what!?) Any ideas? Does anyone have a ""Swiss Army Knife"" utility? Can someone write a script to cleanup the file? HELP!!!!!!! LOL

I had the same a while back and actually posted here but can't find the post. I think what I did was to change the order date on the blank record on the header file thru DFDM to something like 12/31/2999 and then ran the purge order history utility in SO as of that date. The utility sees the blank records in the detail file as linked to the blank record on the header file and removed them. Have a good backup before you start.
