Sage 100

I have a client on MAS90 Version 4.30.0.19. Before they print payroll checks they go to Payroll options and check the box for graphics checks, then they go back in and uncheck the graphic checks box and the checks print correctly. If they don't do this the form is out of alignment. Has anyone solved this problem?

I know this seems like a flippant answer, but why not just use Crystal checks and forget about the non-graphical form?

Actually, that's not a flippant answer and unless there's some other easy fix it would probably solve the problem.

Is this a dot matrix printer? If so, what is the brand. What print driver are they using? Is the top of form set to one (or zero I forget which) instead of 350? Did they try shutting the printer off prior to printing the non graphic check? This will reset the printer. I spent about $500 of client's money trying to get non graphical checks to work one time. Turned out to be a problem with the print driver (and beyond Sage's control). Client switched over to graphical forms (via laser) after they paid the $500 invoice. Good news is that they were warned ahead of time..

Thanks Jeff, it's a laser check and i'm going to go to graphical checks and hopefully that will fix it.
